Story: "The Lost Sheep" (Toddler Version)
Jesus told a story about a shepherd who had 100 sheep.
One day, the shepherd was counting his sheep: "97... 98... 99... Uh oh! Where is number 100?"
One little sheep was missing! The shepherd loved all of his sheep, so he left the 99 in a safe place and went to find the lost one.
He searched high and low until... he found his little sheep! The shepherd was so happy! He picked up the lost sheep, put it on his shoulders, and carried it home.
Then, he told his friends, "Celebrate with me! I found my lost sheep!"
Jesus said, "God is like that shepherd. He loves us so much and always finds us when we are lost!"
