The Easter Hat That Wouldn’t Stay Put!
🎩🌷 A Whirlwind Easter Story with a Hilarious Hat, Creative Crafts, and Springtime Snacks!
Story: "The Easter Hat That Wouldn’t Stay Put!"
It was the morning of the Annual Easter Parade, and everything was almost ready.
The grass was trimmed.
The bunnies were brushing their tails.
And the ducks were waddling in line.
But one thing wasn’t quite right…
A certain Easter hat just wouldn’t stay put.
It was BIG. It was fluffy. It had flowers, ribbons, jellybeans, a tiny basket, and a stuffed chick on top.
Everyone wanted to wear it.
First came Miss Tilly, the town duck. She placed the hat on her feathery head and strutted down the path.
But—WOOOOOSH!
A strong breeze swept the hat right off her head and into the air.
“Oh dear!” she quacked. “That’s one spirited bonnet!”
Next up was Parker the Puppy, who proudly placed the hat over his ears and wagged his tail.
It lasted three seconds.
Then—ZOOM!
It flew off and landed in the frosting of a giant carrot cake.
The crowd gasped.
“Maybe it’s the jellybeans,” said Granny Goat, adjusting her glasses. “Too top-heavy.”
“Maybe it’s cursed!” whispered a turtle from under a bench.
One by one, animals tried to wear the hat—squirrels, kittens, even a llama.
It flew off every. single. time.
Finally, Tiny Lulu, the smallest mouse in town, stepped forward.
“I want to try,” she said softly.
Everyone giggled. The hat was bigger than Lulu!
She climbed onto a stack of books, placed the hat gently on her head—and stood perfectly still.
No hopping. No wiggling. No bouncing.
And guess what?
The hat stayed. put. 🎉
Everyone cheered! Tiny Lulu led the parade with the giant hat wobbling proudly on her head, and they named it:
“The Great Easter Hat of 2025!”
And from then on, it lived in a glass case in the town hall—covered in jellybeans and marshmallow glue, of course.
The End.

“Hop like a bunny”
-
“Spin with your hat”

If the hat falls off, everyone giggles and starts again!
This builds balance, coordination, and hilarious memories.

🎵 Song: “The Hat Flew Off!” (Tune: “London Bridge”)
The Easter hat flew off my head,
Off my head, off my head!
The Easter hat flew off my head,
And landed in a cake!
It rolled around and spun so high,
Spun so high, spun so high!
It rolled around and spun so high—
Now it’s in the sky!
