The Silly Chick Who Thought He Was the Easter Bunny

The Silly Chick Who Thought He Was the Easter Bunny

A Hilarious Easter Story with Crafts, Games, and Chick-tastic Fun!

Story: "The Silly Chick Who Thought He Was the Easter Bunny"

There once was a tiny, fluffy chick named Chickpea who lived on Butterbean Farm.
He was yellow, round, and wobbled when he walked… but one thing was certain:

Chickpea was 100% convinced he was the real Easter Bunny.

“I hop, don’t I?”
“I love eggs, don’t I?”
“I’m cute, aren’t I?”

So one day, while the real Easter Bunny was taking a nap before the big egg delivery, Chickpea made his move.

He grabbed a basket, stuffed it with eggs, and wobbled off toward town.

But Chickpea had a few… issues.

He didn’t know where the eggs were supposed to go.
He kept dropping jellybeans in people’s boots.
He sat on the chocolate eggs to “keep them warm.”
He even tried to hop across a puddle—and SPLASH! Chick down!

By the time the real Easter Bunny woke up, there were eggs in flowerpots, socks, and cereal bowls.

“Oh, Chickpea,” said the Easter Bunny, giggling.
“You’re a great helper—but I think we better work together next time.”

Chickpea fluffed up proudly and said, “As long as I still get to wear the bunny ears!”

The End.

Song: "Chickpea the Chick" (Tune: “I’m a Little Teapot”)

I’m a little chick that's short and sweet,
Hopping around on jellybean feet!
When I get all hyped up I will hop,
I'm the Easter Bunny, Hop-Hop-Hop.

I drop the eggs, I make a mess,
Hide them in a flower dress!
I’m the silliest chick you’ll ever see,
Wearing bunny ears just like he!
