Story: “The Monster That Roared and Cleaned My Crumbs!”

There once was a happy little mouse named Niblet who loved snack time more than anything.

He munched crackers.
He nibbled cheese.
He even crunched toast crumbs off the floor.

But one thing he did not love… was The Roaring Monster.

Every time Niblet was having a snack, the Roaring Monster appeared!

It had a long hose for a nose.
It growled like a dragon.
And it gobbled up every crumb Niblet dropped!

“VVVVVVVRRRRRRMMMMM!”

“EEK!” squeaked Niblet, diving under the couch.

Niblet thought the monster was angry. He didn’t realize it was just… the vacuum cleaner.

Each day, he peeked out and watched it zoom by with its long tail and spinning wheels.

“Don’t eat me!” he’d shout. “I’m not a crumb!”

One day, he noticed something strange.

The Roaring Monster didn’t eat him.
It didn’t even growl at him.

It just slurped up crumbs—and made the floor smell lemony fresh!

And the best part? Mommy Mouse was the one pushing it.

“Wait a second… Mommy’s in charge of the monster?”

The next day, Niblet put on earmuffs and peeked out again.

He watched the vacuum slurp up crackers, popcorn, even his spilled cereal.

Then, Mommy gave him a smile. “Wanna press the button, Niblet?”

Niblet tiptoed over. Click!

VRRRRRRRRMMM!

He jumped—but he didn’t run.

He laughed!

“Look at it go! It’s not scary—it’s just LOUD!”

From that day on, Niblet called it the Crumb Gobbler.

And every time it came out, he waved and said,
“Thanks for cleaning my crumbs!”

The End.
