📜 Bible Verse (Toddler Version)

“Jonah was in the belly of the fish.”
— Jonah 1:17 (simplified)

⭐ Main Point to Repeat with Kids

God saw Jonah, and God sees me too!

(Have children cup their hands around their eyes like they’re “looking,” then point to themselves with a smile.)

📘 Toddler-Friendly Bible Story

Jonah was a man who loved God.
One day, God told Jonah to go to a place called Nineveh.
But Jonah didn’t want to go.

Instead of obeying, Jonah ran away!
He got on a boat and sailed far across the sea.

But God still saw Jonah — even on the boat.

Then a big storm came!
Jonah knew he hadn’t listened to God.
He told the sailors to toss him into the water.

And guess what?
God sent a big fish to swallow Jonah — WHOA!
Jonah sat in the belly of the fish for three whole days.

Inside the fish, Jonah prayed and said, “I’m sorry, God.”

Then the fish opened its mouth and spit Jonah out onto dry land.
Jonah was safe again.

This time, Jonah listened to God and went to Nineveh.

God always sees us, just like He saw Jonah.
Even when we try to hide, God is still with us because He loves us!

Verse 1
Jonah ran from what God said,
Tried to hide and sailed instead.
Stormy waves and a fish so wide,
God still saw him deep inside!

Chorus
God sees me when I run,
God sees me when I play and have fun!
I can trust Him every day,
Even when I go the wrong way.

Verse 2
In the fish, Jonah prayed,
“God, I’m sorry I disobeyed.”
God forgave and set him free,
Now Jonah listened happily!

Chorus (repeat)
God sees me when I run,
God sees me when I play and have fun!
I can trust Him every day,
Even when I go the wrong way.

Outro
God sees me.
God loves me.
And I want to listen!
