"God always keeps His promises!"

Story: "Noah’s Ark — God Keeps His Promises" (Toddler Version)

A long time ago, there was a man named Noah.
Noah loved God and listened to Him. But the people in the world were not listening to God — they were doing wrong things.

God told Noah, "I am going to send a big flood, but I will keep you safe. Build a big boat — an ark!"

So Noah built a huge ark — it was so big!
God sent two of every animal to go inside the ark — lions, elephants, birds, cows, and even tiny ants!

Noah, his family, and all the animals went into the ark, and it rained and rained and rained for 40 days and nights!

But God took care of Noah and the animals.
When the rain stopped, the sun came out, and the water went away.

Then God put a beautiful rainbow in the sky!
God said, "The rainbow is my promise. I will never flood the whole earth again."

And God always keeps His promises!

Activity: "Animal Parade Game"

  • Pretend to be animals going on the ark!
  • Call out animals: "Be a lion!" — kids roar and walk like lions.
  • "Be a bird!" — kids flap like birds.
  • March around in a parade, then "get on the ark!" (sit together).
  • Remind them: "God keeps His promises!"

Craft: "Rainbow Promise Craft"

Supplies:

  • Rainbow coloring page or cutout.
  • Cotton balls for clouds.
  • Crayons, markers.
  • Glue.

Instructions:

  1. Color the rainbow.
  2. Glue cotton balls on for clouds.
  3. Write (or help them write): "God keeps His promises!"
  4. Talk about the rainbow as God's promise!

Song (To the tune of "The Wheels on the Bus"):

🎶
The animals on the ark went two by two,
Two by two, two by two.
The animals on the ark went two by two,
Because God kept His promise!

The rainbow in the sky says God loves you,
God loves you, God loves you.
The rainbow in the sky says God loves you,
God keeps His promises!
🎶

Closing Prayer (Repeat After Me Style):

Dear God,
Thank You for loving me.
Thank You for rainbows and promises.
Help me to trust You always.
Amen.

Optional Take-Home Note for Parents:

Today we learned that God keeps His promises — just like He promised Noah! When your child sees a rainbow, remind them it is a promise from God that He loves and cares for us. Ask them to show you how they can be like Noah by listening to God!
