The Easter Basket That Sprang To Life

The Easter Basket That Sprang to Life!

A Whimsical Easter Story with Crafts, Games, and Egg-cellent Fun

Story: "The Easter Basket That Sprang to Life!"

In the quiet corner of a living room, under the glow of twinkling fairy lights, sat a woven Easter basket named Tilly.

Tilly was bright, colorful, and filled with the most beautiful Easter eggs, all snuggled in soft, crinkly paper grass. But there was just one problem…

No one was delivering the eggs.
And Tilly was tired of waiting.

"I’m not just a basket—I’m a helper!" she huffed.
So with a wiggle…
And a SPRING!

Tilly bounced off the table and rolled across the floor, ready to deliver eggs herself!

She wobbled through the hallway…
Tumbled down a pillow mountain…
Snuck past a snoring cat…

And one by one, she placed Easter eggs beside shoes, on pillows, and even in the sock drawer!

By morning, the kids awoke to a trail of colorful surprises and giggled in delight.
Tilly, now missing a few jellybeans and slightly tilted to one side, was proud.

She may have been a basket…
But she was also an Easter hero!

The End.

    • Sneak like Tilly past the cat

Song: "Tilly the Basket" (Tune: “Mary Had a Little Lamb”)

Tilly was a basket bright,
Basket bright, basket bright,
Tilly was a basket bright,
She sprang to life one night!

She bounced along and hid her eggs,
Hid her eggs, hid her eggs,
She bounced along and hid her eggs,
On chairs and shoes and legs!
