Story: "The Egg Who Wanted to Be a Bunny"

Once upon a time in Hoppy Hollow, there was a little Easter egg named Egbert. Egbert wasn’t like the other eggs—he didn’t want to just sit in a basket. He wanted to hop like a bunny, wiggle his nose, and be the official Easter Bunny.

One morning, Egbert saw Benny the Bunny delivering eggs. "That looks so fun!" Egbert thought.

So, he tried to hop like Benny.
He rolled right into a pile of jellybeans.

Then he tried to wiggle his nose.
But eggs don’t have noses.

Finally, Egbert decided, "I need long ears!"
He taped two paper ears onto his shell and yelled, "I’m ready for Easter!"

Benny Bunny giggled. "Egbert, you don’t have to be a bunny. Eggs are important too!"

Egbert blinked. "Really?"

"Of course!" Benny said. "Without eggs, I wouldn’t have anything to deliver."

From that day on, Egbert was proud to be an egg. He rolled around, made kids happy, and became the Easter Egg Champion of Hoppy Hollow.

The End.
