📖 Bible Story: The Birth of Baby Jesus
A long time ago, Mary and Joseph traveled to a town called Bethlehem.
Mary was going to have a very special baby — a baby sent from God!
When they got to Bethlehem, all the inns were full. There was no room anywhere for them to stay. Finally, someone said they could stay in a stable where animals rested.
That night, baby Jesus was born!
Mary wrapped Him in soft cloth and laid Him in a manger filled with hay.
Out in the fields, shepherds were watching their sheep. Suddenly, an angel appeared and said,
“Don’t be afraid! I bring you good news! Today in Bethlehem, a Savior has been born — He is Christ the Lord!”
The shepherds hurried to see baby Jesus. They found Him lying in the manger, just as the angel said.
They were so happy! They praised God and told everyone, “Jesus is born!”
🎲 Activity: Follow the Star Game
Cut out a big yellow star and tape it to a stick. Have the children follow the star around the room as if they were traveling to see baby Jesus.
When you stop, everyone says together:

From heaven’s home to us above.
