📖 Story: The Mouse Family’s Christmas Glow
It was a snowy Christmas Eve in the cozy little home of the Mouse family — Papa Mouse, Mama Mouse, and their two children, Johnny and Olivia.
Outside, the snowflakes twirled under the moonlight as Papa Mouse and Johnny bundled up in scarves and mittens. They worked together to gather small pieces of wood for their fireplace.
Papa Mouse smiled proudly. “You’re getting stronger every year, Johnny! These logs will keep our family warm tonight.”
When they finished, the two mice carried the firewood inside, shaking the snow from their fur. The kitchen smelled of cheese biscuits, roasted chestnuts, and cinnamon cocoa. Mama Mouse had been busy preparing their special Christmas Eve dinner.
After the meal, the family sat together near the fireplace. The crackling fire filled the room with a golden glow.
Mama Mouse poured warm cocoa into four tiny mugs and said, “Now that our tummies are full, let’s fill our hearts with the true meaning of Christmas.”
She opened her little family Bible and began to read softly about the night baby Jesus was born — how the angels sang, how the shepherds hurried to see Him, and how God sent His Son to bring love and light to the world.
Olivia and Johnny listened closely, their little eyes sparkling like stars. When the story ended, Mama Mouse tucked them into bed and whispered, “Don’t forget to thank God.”
Johnny and Olivia knelt beside their small wooden bed and prayed together:
“Dear God, thank You for sending Jesus. Thank You for our home, our family, and Your never-ending love.”
Outside, the snowflakes drifted quietly against the window. Inside, Papa Mouse placed one last log on the fire. The flames danced and filled the room with a warm, peaceful light.
Mama Mouse smiled and whispered, “Look — our home is glowing with God’s love.”
And that Christmas Eve, the little Mouse family fell asleep surrounded by warmth, love, and the gentle glow of God’s light.
The End.
