God Made Adam and Eve Toddler Bible Lesson

Lesson Title:
"God Made Adam and Eve — A Lesson on God's Love and Creation"
With a toddler-friendly Bible story, hands-on craft, movement game, and a catchy song, this lesson is perfect for Sunday School, preschool, children’s church, and homeschool.
Bible Theme:
God made people, and He loves us no matter what.
Bible Verse (Toddler Version):
“God made people.” – Genesis 1:27
Main Point to Repeat with Kids:
"God made me, and He loves me!"
Toddler-Friendly Story:
In the very beginning, God made a beautiful world. He made the sky, the land, the water, the animals, and all the plants.
But then God made something extra special — people!
God made a man named Adam. He lived in a beautiful garden called Eden. There were trees with yummy fruit, soft grass, birds singing, and animals everywhere.
God gave Adam a job — to take care of the garden and name all the animals.
But Adam was lonely. So God made a woman named Eve to be his friend.
Adam and Eve were the very first people, and they walked with God in the garden. He gave them everything they needed — but asked them not to eat from one special tree.
One day, a sneaky snake came and told Eve to eat the fruit from that tree. Eve ate it, and so did Adam.
They made a sad choice and disobeyed God.
Because of that, they had to leave the garden. But guess what? God still loved them so much! He promised to help them, and one day He sent Jesus to save us all.

Poem:
God made Adam, then made Eve,
In a garden, they did live.
Though they made a big mistake,
God still loved them for His sake.
Pretend Play Game: “Garden Walk”
Set up a pretend Garden of Eden in your room with:
-
Stuffed animals
-
Fake trees or green fabric
-
A “tree” in the center kids should not touch (to teach obedience)
Let the kids walk around like Adam and Eve, caring for animals and flowers. Remind them: “We listen and obey God!”
Snack Idea: “Garden Fruit Cups”
Give each child a small cup of fruit (grapes, banana slices, apples, etc.) to remind them of the garden.
Talk while eating:
“Adam and Eve lived in a garden with lots of fruit. Let’s thank God for the food He gives us!”
Closing Prayer (Repeat After Me):
Dear God,
Thank You for making the world.
Thank You for making me.
Help me to listen to You
and show Your love.
Amen!
Optional Take-Home Note for Parents:
Today we learned about Adam and Eve — the first people God made. Even though they made a mistake, God never stopped loving them. Talk with your child about how God made them special too! Ask them to show you their garden craft and share what animals they "named" today in our activity.
