📘 Toddler-Friendly Bible Story
Andy was a little blue jelly bean who loved two things very much.
He loved riding in his hot air balloon… and he loved reading his Bible.
Every morning, Andy would hold his Bible close and thank God for the day.
One Valentine’s Day morning, Andy was getting ready for a balloon ride.
His colorful hot air balloon was filled with warm air, and Andy had his Bible tucked under his arm.
Just then, his friend Jay Jay came walking by.
“Hi Andy!” said Jay Jay.
“Hi Jay Jay!” Andy smiled. “Would you like to go exploring with me in my hot air balloon today?”
Jay Jay’s eyes grew big. “Yes! I’d love to!”
Up, up, up they went into the sky.
“Look down there, Jay Jay,” Andy said kindly.
“You can see all the trees from up here.”
Andy opened his Bible and pointed to a verse.
“God made those,” Andy said. “That’s how He shows His love.”
They floated a little higher.
“Look!” said Andy. “Birds flying in the sky.”
Andy smiled and said, “God made the birds too. He loves them… and He loves us.”
They looked down again and saw ducks swimming on a pond.
“God made the ducks,” Andy said. “God made everything because He loves us.”
Just then… plip, plip, plop!
Rain began to fall.
Andy laughed. Jay Jay laughed too.
“God made the rain!” Andy said. “But we should land and go inside now!”
They safely landed the balloon and went to Andy’s house.
That evening, they shared a delicious Valentine’s Day snack of pancakes and chocolate milk.
They talked about their adventure and all the wonderful things God made.
Before saying goodbye, Andy and Jay Jay bowed their heads together and thanked God for the wonderful day.
“Thank You, God,” they prayed,
“for loving us, for making everything, and for showing us Your love in so many ways.”
Andy smiled and said,
“God’s love is everywhere.”
And Jay Jay smiled back.
The End.
🎲 Movement Activity
“Up, Up, Balloon!”
Have children pretend to blow up a balloon, rise on tiptoes like floating, flap like birds, waddle like ducks, then gently sit down like landing the balloon.

Up in a balloon, floating in light.

God made the world we know.
Trees and birds and sky above,
Everything was made with love.

God made the rain and God made the sky.
