In a warm little bakery lived a happy gingerbread boy named Gingy.
He had frosting hair, gumdrop buttons, and the biggest smile in the kitchen. 😊

Every Sunday morning, Gingy popped up and said,
“It’s church day! I can’t be late!”

He grabbed his tiny Bible…
straightened his icing squiggle…
and off he went!

But then—
Uh-oh! SLIP!
Gingy slid right into a big pile of sprinkles!
Sprinkles on his head, sprinkles on his feet, sprinkles everywhere! 🌈

Gingy giggled.
“No time to clean! I have to go to church!”

So Gingy ran, ran, ran! 💨
Past the cupcakes…
Around the pretzels…
Over the spoon…

Then—
BOUNCE!
A big soft marshmallow rolled in front of him.
“Boop!” said Gingy as he hopped right over it!

A fluffy cloud of flour went POOF!
Gingy came out looking like a little snow cookie!
He shook-shake-shook the flour off. ❄️

“Gotta keep going!” Gingy said.

He slid down a spoon — wheee!
Landed in cozy oven mitts — boop!
And ran out the bakery door!

Down the sidewalk he went —
faster… faster… FASTER!
The church bell rang:
DING! DING! DING! ⛪

Gingy zoomed inside just in time.
He sat down, folded his little cookie hands, and said:

“Thank You, God.
I’m so happy to be here.” 💛

And every week after that,
Gingy ran to church with joy —
sprinkles, marshmallows, flour puffs, and all! 🍪💨⛪

Tell kids to pretend to be Gingy:

Kids move in place while chanting:

Then say “RUN TO CHURCH!” and let them walk fast to a picture of a church on the wall.
