Story: "The Rainbow Who Forgot Its Colors — Until It Praised God!"
Once upon a time, there was a beautiful rainbow named Rosie. Rosie had all the bright, shiny colors — red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple!
Rosie loved to stretch across the sky and make everyone smile.
But one day, Rosie woke up and felt sad.
Her colors were gone!
Instead of bright colors, she was all gray.
"Oh no," Rosie whispered. "Where are my colors?"
She floated through the sky feeling very lonely.
The birds flew by and asked, "Rosie, what’s wrong?"
"My colors are gone. I don’t know how to get them back."
The birds chirped kindly, "Maybe you should praise God!"
Rosie blinked. "Praise God? But I’m sad!"
The birds smiled and said, "When we are sad, we sing to God — and it makes our hearts happy again."
So Rosie thought she would try.
She looked up to the sky and said, "Thank You, God, for making the sky so big and beautiful!"
And guess what? A little stripe of red came back!
Rosie gasped, "It’s working!"
So she said, "Thank You, God, for the sunshine and the rain!"
A stripe of orange and yellow came back!
Rosie felt happier, and she kept praising God:
"Thank You for the trees, the flowers, and my friends!"
Soon, green, blue, and purple stripes returned — and Rosie was a full rainbow again!
Rosie smiled brightly and said,
"When I praise God, my colors come back! Praising God makes my heart happy!"
From that day on, Rosie always remembered to praise God, whether she was happy or sad.
