Story: "The Puppy Who Forgot How to Bark — A Lesson on Using Our Gifts for God"
Once there was a fluffy little puppy named Poppy.
Poppy loved to run, wag her tail, and play with her friends. But there was one thing she couldn’t do — she forgot how to bark!
When the other dogs barked loud and happy, Poppy just sat quietly.
"Why can’t I bark like everyone else?" Poppy wondered sadly.
"Maybe I’m not good enough."
One day, a little girl was playing in the yard when a big squirrel ran up to steal her snack!
The other dogs barked loudly, but the squirrel didn’t care.
Poppy wanted to help but didn't know how. Then she remembered her big, happy tail.
She ran over, wagged her tail really fast, and jumped around!
"Swish! Swish! Jump! Wag!"
The squirrel got scared of all Poppy’s silly moves and ran away!
Everyone cheered, "Good job, Poppy!"
Poppy realized, "I may not bark, but I can still help! God gave me other ways to be special."
From that day on, Poppy used her happy tail, fun jumps, and sweet smile to help and bring joy to everyone.
She learned that God gives us all special gifts, and we can use them to help others!

If you’ve got a gift to share, wag your tail (wag, wag!)
If you’ve got a gift to share,
And you want to show you care,
If you’ve got a gift to share, wag your tail (wag, wag!)

Dear God,
Thank You for making me special.
Help me use my gifts for You.
Even when I feel small,
You can use me!
I love You, God!
Amen.
