Toddler-Friendly Story: The Fish Who Shared His Snacks
Finley the little fish loved snack time.
Every day, he swam through the coral reef with a lunch sack full of tiny fish crackers and seaweed wraps.
One day, Finley saw a school of sea creatures gathered near the reef. Everyone looked sad.
“What’s wrong?” asked Finley.
“We forgot our snacks,” said a turtle.
“I’m so hungry,” said a crab.
“Me too,” said a starfish.
Finley looked at his lunch sack.
He only had five crackers and two wraps.
It didn’t seem like much.
He wiggled his fins. “God, is this enough to share?”
Then he smiled and said,
“I’m not sure it’s a lot… but I’ll give what I have!”
So Finley passed out his fishy snacks.
He gave some to the turtle, the crab, the starfish — even the shy jellyfish hiding behind a shell.
And guess what?
There was enough for everyone!
The sea creatures cheered, “Finley, you’re the best!”
Finley giggled, “I just shared what I had.”
And deep in the ocean, a big bubble floated up and whispered:
“That’s what Jesus loves to see!”
