📚 Toddler Story: The Arkansas Pumpkin Who Loves Biscuits & Gravy
Down in sunny Arkansas, there lived a happy little pumpkin named George (or you can name him whatever you’d like for your character series).
Every morning, George woke up early, stretched his vines, and cooked his favorite breakfast — biscuits and gravy! 🍽️
He’d pray before eating and say, “Thank You, God, for this yummy food and for another day to do Your work!”
Then George hopped on his tractor and looked around his farm. He saw a fence that had fallen, animals that needed food, and pumpkins that needed help picking up sticks after the storm.
George smiled and said, “This looks like a job for me and God!”
He worked joyfully all day — fixing fences, carrying hay, and helping his friends.
When the sun began to set, George said, “God, today was full of hard work and full of joy!” 🌅
That night, as he read his Bible before bed, George whispered,
“I love You, Lord, and I’ll keep serving You every day.”
🌟 Story Reflection:
The Arkansas Pumpkin reminds us that serving God can be fun and full of joy! 🍽️🎃 He worked hard, helped his friends, and always started his day by reading God’s Word. Just like him, we can show God’s love by helping others with a happy heart and thanking Him for all He gives us. 💛
✨ Poem: “The Arkansas Pumpkin’s Morning Prayer”
Down in Arkansas where pumpkins play,
Lives one who serves God every day. 🌻
He eats his biscuits, loves his gravy, too,
And thanks the Lord for all He can do. 🍽️
He reads his Bible, then climbs his tractor,
Helping friends — he’s a happy helper! 🚜
With a joyful heart, he sings and prays,
“I’ll serve my God in all my ways!” 🙏
From sunrise bright to evening’s glow, 🌅
He helps God’s love and kindness grow.
The pumpkin smiles, so big and wide,
With biscuits, gravy, and God by his side! 💛
