Story: "Penny the Penguin and the Big Big Storm"
Once upon a time, way down in the icy land, there lived a little penguin named Penny! Penny loved to slide on the ice and play with her penguin friends. But one day, Penny saw a Big Big Storm coming! The wind whooshed! The snow swirled! Penny waddled and waddled, trying to find a safe place.
Penny was so scared! She said, “Oh no! What do I do? I’m just a tiny penguin!”
Then Penny remembered something her Mama Penguin told her:
"When you are scared, talk to God! God takes care of you!"
So Penny closed her little eyes, put her wings together, and said:
"Dear God, I’m scared of the storm! Please help me!"
And guess what? Even though the storm was still blowing, Penny felt braver inside because she knew God was with her!
Soon, Penny saw a big rock to hide behind, and her friends joined her. They all sang a little song to remember:
"God takes care of me, even in a storm! Yay God!"
When the storm passed, Penny was so happy! She learned that God takes care of us, even when we are scared!
