God made me special for a purpose

📖 Bible Verse (Toddler Version)

“We are God’s creation.” — Ephesians 2:10

💬 Main Point to Repeat with Kids

God made me special, and I can do my best

📖 Toddler-Friendly Story

Dennis the bumblebee was always busy.

He buzzed from flower to flower, working all day long. He loved doing what bumblebees do best—making sweet honey.

One day, as Dennis flew through the garden, he saw Stevie the red bird sitting on a branch watching him.

“Dennis,” Stevie chirped, “why do you fly from flower to flower all day?”

Dennis smiled and said,
“Because God made me this way! He designed me to do this so I can make honey.”

Stevie tilted his head.
“Honey? I’ve never tried honey before!”

Dennis buzzed excitedly.
“You haven’t? Then you should come over this weekend! I’ll show you what honey is.”

So that weekend, Stevie flew over to Dennis’s cozy little home.

Dennis brought out a small bowl and a spoon.
“Here,” he said, “try some!”

Stevie took a little taste…

His eyes got big!
“Wow! This is SO good! I think this would taste great with some bird seed too!”

Dennis laughed.
“See? God made me to make honey and do the job He gave me!”

Stevie smiled.
“That’s amazing. God made you just right.”

Dennis nodded.
“And God made YOU just right too.”

They looked out over the garden—the flowers, the trees, the sky…

Everything God made was good.

And Dennis knew that being busy and doing his best for God was something very special.

Dennis the bee went buzz buzz buzz
Working hard just because
Stevie watched from up above
“Why so busy?” “Made with love!”

God made bees and birds just right
Each with jobs both day and night
Dennis smiled, “Now you can see—
God made you and God made me!”
