🌼 Bible Theme
Honoring and loving our moms
📖 Bible Verse (Toddler Version)
“Honor your father and mother.” — Matthew 19:19
💬 Main Point to Repeat with Kids
“I can show love to my mom!”
(Have them repeat it a few times with big smiles )
📖 Toddler-Friendly Story
There once was a little flower named Petal Pop
Petal Pop lived in a sunny garden with lots of other flowers. Every day, Petal Pop watched the children walk by with their moms.
One day, Petal Pop asked,
“Why do the kids hug their moms so much?”
A wise sunflower smiled and said,
“Because moms take care of us, love us, and help us every day!”
Petal Pop thought really hard.
“My mom helps me too! She gives me water, sunshine, and keeps me safe!”
So Petal Pop had an idea…
The next time her mom came near, Petal Pop stood tall, opened her petals wide, and said,
“I LOVE YOU, MOM!”
Her mom smiled so big
She felt so happy and loved!
And guess what?
All the other flowers started saying it too!
“I love you!”
“Thank you!”
“Hugs for you!”
The whole garden filled with LOVE
And that’s what God wants us to do—
To love our moms, be kind, and show them we care!
The End.

🌸 Flower Cracker Snack
Would you like a flower cracker? These are simple and fun for kids to make!
Start by laying out some round crackers. Spread a small amount of cream cheese on each one. Use a mini flower-shaped cookie cutter to cut flowers from slices of cheese, bologna or ham then place them on top of the crackers.
No cookie cutter? No problem! You can:
- Pipe a flower shape using squeeze cheese
- Add a black olive in the center with tiny carrot pieces as petals
- Or create a simple flower design using just cheese
These little flower snacks are perfect for Mother’s Day and make a sweet, kid-friendly treat! 🌼💖
🙏 Closing Prayer (Repeat After Me)
Dear God,
Thank you for my mommy
Thank you for her love
Help me be kind
Help me say thank you
Help me show love every day
Amen

🏡 Take-Home Note for Parents
Today we learned about honoring and loving our moms! Ask your child how they can show love at home this week.
💭 💖 A Little Heart Moment
Moms do so much every single day—big things and tiny things we don’t always see. God gave us moms to love us, help us, and take care of us. When we say “thank you,” give hugs, and show kindness, it makes their hearts so happy
💖 A Special Note
Some friends may not have a mom at home, and that’s okay.
God loves you very much, and He gives you special people who love and care for you too.
You can make your gift for someone special—like a grandma, aunt, teacher, or anyone who loves you.
You are loved, and you are never alone.
💬 What to Say to the Child
If you don’t have a mom at home, you can make your gift for someone special who loves and cares for you—like a grandma, aunt, or teacher. You are loved very much.
