📖 TODDLER-FRIENDLY STORY:
Mike the Bunny loved to hop fast.
He zipped through flowers.
He zoomed past bees.
He even raced the wind!
One morning, Mama Bunny said,
“Let’s go pick blueberries. But we have to go slow — the berries aren’t ready yet.”
Mike wiggled. “But I want them NOW!”
He didn’t wait.
Mike zoomed ahead down the path.
He picked berries that were still green. He tripped. He tumbled. His bucket flew!
He sat down with a sniff. “I didn’t wait…”
Mama Bunny caught up, picked him up, and wiped his fur.
“It’s okay, Mike. But next time, wait on God’s timing. He knows when everything is just right.”
Mike nodded.
Next time, he walked slow — and found the juiciest, most beautiful blueberries ever.
The End.

🎵 SONG TITLE: “Wait for the Lord”
(To your own tune)
I can wait on God each day,
Hop, hop, hop — not run away!
Even when I want it now,
God will show me when and how!
Yes, I’ll wait — I trust His way!
Hop, hop, hop, and then I’ll play!
🎵 SONG TITLE: “Wait, Wait, Wait on God”
(To the tune of “Row, Row, Row Your Boat”)
Wait, wait, wait on God,
Even when it’s hard.
He knows when the time is right,
So I will trust the Lord!
Hop, hop, hop so slow,
Don’t go fast today!
God will help me wait for Him,
And guide me on my way!
📝 POEM: Mike the Quick Bunny
Mike the Bunny loved to race,
He hopped and zoomed all over the place!
But when he rushed and ran ahead,
He tripped and dropped his snack instead.
Then Mama said with love so wide,
“God’s timing’s best — walk by His side!”
🎭 PRETEND PLAY GAME: Bunny Berry Patch
Set up pretend “berry patches” using blue pom-poms or paper cutouts.
Let kids play as Mike, hopping slowly to pick the berries.
If they hop too fast, have them sit and say,
“I’ll wait on God!”
Try again slowly for a gentle reset.

Dear God,
Sometimes I go too fast.
Help me wait for You.
