📘 BIBLE THEME:
Humility and putting others first
📖 BIBLE VERSE (Toddler Version):
“Be humble and think of others.” – Philippians 2:3 (simplified)
🗣️ MAIN POINT TO REPEAT WITH KIDS:
“I don’t have to be the best — I can be kind!”
📖 TODDLER-FRIENDLY STORY:
Bruno the Bunny loved hopping races, carrot stacking, and digging the longest tunnels.
He also loved hearing people cheer, “Wow! Look at Bruno go!”
One sunny day, all the animals met in the meadow for a friendly Spring Games Day.
Bruno grinned. “I’m going to win everything!”
But during the race, Lulu the Lamb tripped.
Bruno looked back… and kept running.
Later, during the carrot toss, Sammy the Squirrel missed.
Bruno clapped for himself and shouted, “I’m the best bunny ever!”
But nobody smiled.
That night, Bruno sat alone.
He thought about something his teacher once said:
“Jesus didn’t come to show off. He came to love others.”
Bruno took a deep breath.
“I don’t want to be the best… I want to be kind.”
So the next day, he cheered for Lulu and Sammy, and gave his last carrot trophy to a friend.
And you know what?
That day, Bruno’s heart felt like the real winner.
The End.

If you want to be like Jesus, show some love! (clap, clap)
If you want to be like Jesus, give a hug! (hug yourself)
Put your friends before you do,
Let them win — that’s kind and true,
If you want to be like Jesus, lift them up! (clap, clap)
📝 POEM: Bruno’s Choice
Bruno ran and Bruno raced,
He always came in first place!
But when his friends began to fall,
He didn’t stop to help at all.
Then he recalled what Jesus said —
“Be kind to others first instead.”
He helped, he smiled, and gave his best,
And found that kindness beats the rest!
🎭 PRETEND PLAY GAME: Kindness Race Day
Set up pretend challenges (jump rope, bean bag toss, hopscotch).
Let kids cheer for each other and give away paper “ribbons” when someone is kind.
At the end, say:
“Everyone who was kind… won today!”
🙏 CLOSING PRAYER (REPEAT AFTER ME):
Dear God,
Thank You for loving me.
Help me be kind,
And put others first.
I don’t have to be the best —
I want to be like Jesus!
Amen.
