Post 17: “You’re Still Allowed to Dream”

Maybe life got busy.
Maybe you chose the practical thing.
Maybe survival had to come first.
Or maybe someone made you feel like your dream was too big… or too silly… or not “realistic” enough.

So you set it down.
You tucked it away quietly — like something childish you were supposed to outgrow.

But here’s what I need you to know:

You’re still allowed to dream.
Even now.
Even if it’s been years.
Even if the dream has changed shape.
Even if you don’t even know where to begin.

You don’t have to have it all figured out.
You don’t need a five-step plan.
You just need a little spark — a whisper of maybe I still want this.

Your dream doesn’t have to look impressive to matter.
It doesn’t have to make money.
It doesn’t have to be someone else’s idea of success.

If it makes your soul light up — that’s enough.

If it brings you closer to peace, or joy, or purpose — that’s enough.

If it’s been living in the back corner of your heart, quietly waiting for you to come back to it — that’s enough.

You are not too late.
You are not too old.
You are not too behind.

You are right on time for the version of your dream that fits who you are becoming now.

So breathe life back into it.
Try again.
Or start from scratch.
Or dream something entirely new.

Because you’re still allowed to want more.
To imagine something different.
To believe in beauty you can’t see yet.

You’re still allowed to dream.
And it’s not selfish.
It’s sacred.
