Post 29: “You Don’t Have to Rush Your Becoming”
We live in a world that tells us to hurry.
Hurry to figure it out.
Hurry to succeed.
Hurry to be healed, to be better, to be “enough.”
And when you look around and see people who seem further ahead, it’s easy to wonder:
“Am I too late? Am I behind? Shouldn’t I be more by now?”
But here’s the truth you need to hear:
you don’t have to rush your becoming.
Growth takes time.
Healing takes time.
Learning, unlearning, softening, blooming — none of it happens overnight.
A flower doesn’t panic because another one bloomed first.
The seasons don’t apologize for arriving slowly.
The ocean waves don’t apologize for taking their time to return.
And neither should you.
The timing of your becoming is sacred.
It’s not a mistake.
It’s not late.
It’s yours.
So breathe.
Take the next step without pressure.
Let yourself grow at the pace your soul can carry.
Because you’re not behind.
You’re becoming.
And that is enough. 💛
