Post 20: “When Healing Feels Out of Reach”
Maybe your body has been hurting for a long time. Maybe you’ve tried everything — doctors, prayers, treatments, remedies — and still you wake up in pain. Maybe you’re tired of saying “I’m fine” when you’re anything but.
And maybe, somewhere deep down, you’ve wondered: “Is this just how it will always be? Will I ever feel whole again?”
If that’s you — I want you to know this:
You are not less because you’re still waiting for healing. Your story isn’t smaller. Your worth isn’t weaker. Your life isn’t wasted.
It’s hard when your body feels like it’s fighting you. It’s hard when every step or breath or movement feels heavy. It’s hard when others don’t understand because they can’t see the ache.
But hear me: You are still here. Still brave. Still showing up, even when your body makes it harder than anyone realizes.
And that matters.
Even if the healing hasn’t come yet — you are still living, still loving, still making ripples in the world around you. Your presence carries weight. Your story carries power.
And maybe, just maybe… healing doesn’t always come in the way we expect. Sometimes it comes in the strength to keep going. Sometimes it comes in the people who show up and love us through it. Sometimes it comes in tiny, quiet mercies that remind us we’re not walking this road alone.
I don’t know when or how your body’s healing will come. But I do know this: your hope is not wasted. Your waiting is not empty. And your life has meaning — even here, even now.
So breathe. Rest. Let yourself be human. You don’t have to be strong all the time. You don’t have to put on a brave face. You are allowed to feel the weight of it.
And you are also allowed to believe that healing — in some form, in some time, in some way — is still possible.
Because you are not forgotten. And you are not alone. 💛
