Post 05: “To the One Who Feels Like They’re Always Behind”
Hey you.
Yeah… you, reading this with tired eyes and a heavy heart.
The one who keeps wondering why everyone else seems to be “getting it right” while you’re stuck in the same place — spinning, striving, surviving.
Let me tell you something:
You are not behind.
There is no scoreboard.
No secret timer.
No perfect pace you're supposed to match.
You’re not late.
You’re living.
And that? That’s enough.
I know what it’s like to feel like the world is running ahead of you — like everyone’s already figured it out and you’re fumbling in the dark, trying to catch up.
I know the sting of seeing other people’s milestones while you’re still trying to stand up without shaking.
But listen:
Life is not a race.
Your path is not their path.
Your pace is not their pace.
And healing, growth, purpose — they do not arrive on someone else’s timeline.
You are not lazy.
You are not a failure.
You are not behind.
You are becoming.
You are unfolding.
You are building something sacred in the slow and quiet moments, even if you can’t see it yet.
Maybe you haven’t done everything you thought you would by now.
Maybe things look messier than you hoped.
But you’re still here. Still showing up. Still breathing through the overwhelm.
That’s not falling behind.
That’s resilience.
You’re allowed to rest.
You’re allowed to take your time.
You’re allowed to move through life at the rhythm your soul can carry.
So exhale, sweet one.
You’re not late.
You’re not lost.
You’re right on time for the life that’s meant for you.
