Post 35: “Hope Still Knows Your Name”

There are seasons when hope feels like a stranger.
When life hurts more than it heals.
When your prayers feel like they’re drifting into silence.
When the waiting is long, and the weight is heavy, and you wonder if hope has simply… moved on without you.

But listen closely:
hope hasn’t forgotten you.
It still knows your name.

Even when you can’t feel it.
Even when you can’t see it.
Even when your heart is too tired to hold onto it anymore.

Hope doesn’t depend on your grip.
It doesn’t disappear just because you feel weak.
It lingers. It waits. It whispers in the quiet:
“I’m still here. I haven’t let go of you.”

Sometimes hope looks like light breaking through the clouds.
Sometimes it looks like a small kindness that arrives on the hardest day.
Sometimes it looks like breath in your lungs when you thought you couldn’t take another step.

And sometimes hope is simply this: the truth that your story isn’t finished yet.

So if you feel abandoned by hope, let this be your reminder — you are not forgotten.
Not by God.
Not by grace.
Not by hope itself.

It still knows your name.
It still belongs to you.
And one day, when the time is right, it will bloom again in you — brighter than before. 💛
