🍌 Molly Moo Moo and Charlie's Giant Banana Split
One sunny morning, Molly Moo Moo opened the doors to Molly Moo Moo's Sweet Shop.
"Good morning!" she smiled.
"I wonder who will visit today?"
Molly loved going to work every morning.
She loved baking cookies.
She loved scooping ice cream.
She loved making colorful desserts.
But most of all...
She loved making her friends smile.
Just then...
Hop! Hop! Hop!
A little bunny bounced through the front door.
His name was Charlie.
And guess what?
Charlie had the funniest little polka-dot tail!
Molly giggled.
"My goodness!"
"I've never seen a bunny with a polka-dot tail before!"
"It reminds me of rainbow sprinkles on top of ice cream!"
Charlie laughed.
"Thank you!"
"My grandma says my tail makes people smile."
Molly smiled too.
"I think she's right."
Charlie looked up at the menu.
"I would LOVE the biggest banana split you can make!"
Molly clapped her hooves together.
"Oh my goodness!"
"That's my favorite too!"
"And every day after work, I enjoy a chocolate milkshake with mine!"
Charlie smiled.
"Yum!"
"So do I!"
Molly grabbed the biggest bowl she could find.
First...
She added a banana.
Then...
One scoop of ice cream.
Two scoops.
Three scoops!
Then she drizzled chocolate syrup all over the top.
She added fluffy whipped cream.
Bright red cherries.
And LOTS and LOTS of colorful sprinkles!
The banana split was SO BIG...
Molly could hardly carry it!
"Whew!" she laughed.
"This might be my biggest banana split EVER!"
Charlie couldn't wait another second.
He took one great big bite.
"Mmmmmmmm!"
His little bunny nose twitched.
His floppy ears wiggled.
His foot started thumping the floor...
Thump!
Thump!
Thump!
It thumped faster...
And faster...
And faster!
Suddenly...
Charlie zoomed around the sweet shop in one giant happy circle!
Molly laughed so hard she almost dropped her chocolate milkshake.
When Charlie finally stopped hopping...
He was smiling from ear to ear.
"That," he said,
"was the BEST banana split I've ever tasted!"
Molly smiled.
"You know what makes it extra special?"
Charlie shook his head.
"What?"
Molly pointed to her heart.
"I always make every dessert with a little extra kindness."
Charlie smiled.
"I think I could taste it."
Before Charlie hopped home, Molly packed him one chocolate chip cookie for the road.
"Come visit again soon!" she waved.
Charlie wiggled his funny little polka-dot tail.
"I will!"
"And next time..."
"I'll bring a friend!"
Molly waved as Charlie hopped down the sidewalk.
Then she smiled and whispered...
